(Galatians 4:7) "but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ."

In order to inherit anything, someone must die first. After death, the possession of the inheritance is given to the heir. Christ died and we inherit, ALL THINGS! (Matthew 21:38) (Hebrews 1:2)

I. Pain & Suffering: (Romans 8:17)

A. Not in heaven—Since there is no pain & suffering in heaven then we must conclude that we have access to our inheritance here on earth.
B. We only think of heaven—We often only consider heaven as our inheritance but in reality we can enjoy our inheritance now.
C. The good with the bad—We think of inheritance as pleasant things but the world rejected Christ and it will also reject us.

II. Promise (Galatians 3:29) (James 2:5)
A. Abraham—All the way back to Abraham we find the promise of inheritance.
B. Christ—The promised inheritance was/is Christ.
C. All—In Christ we find all our inheritance
III. Peace (Titus 3:7)
A. Knowing—brings peace the passes all understanding.
B. Grace—brings peace in the fact its not by our works.
C. Justification—brings peace in that we are innocent in God's eyes.
IV. Prayer (1 Peter 3:7)
A. Approach—The method of communication "prayer" is inherited.
B. Acceptance—The only reason our prayers are heard by God is due to Christ and his finished work at the cross.
C. Availability—The veil was rent from top to bottom and it still is!
V. Power (Matthew 28:18)
A. Church then—Christ informs his church.
B. Church today—Christ informs us as well.
